FRWI

Film Recycling Works International S.A.L. (FRWI) is a leading recycling company in Lebanon.
Established in 2001, it is the only factory in Lebanon who can recycle the post-consumer LDPE plastic bags collected from the capital Beirut, and its suburbs.

Using custom made machines, and employing over 50 workers, for sorting and handling the production line, FRWI has a monthly production capacity of around 200 Metric Tons, thus saving the environment around 4,800 Metric Tons of plastic bags waste per year.

FRWI export over 70 % of its production, and sells locally around 30%.

Most of the local clients are factories for manufacturing black irrigation pipes, or factories for manufacturing of plastic bags for waste bins.

The countries of exports are mostly India and some African countries (Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali…). The granules are mostly used in the manufacturing of “Bache noire” (thick large sheets of plastic used to dry the cacao and any other crops).

All our products are film grade, extruded using a REPS filter (wire mesh 110 especially used for film grade repro).

Natural (honey) color (60%)
Black color (30%)
Other colors (10%)
